Winter's Daybreak

I think this counts as my Suiguno piece for this year. This time, it's standard digital art. Learning the ropes of 3D programs seems to have gotten me insight into perspective and foreshortening, so I was satisfied enough with painting to upload this. The Suiguno took several hours. The background took less than one. Here comes the process of learning how textures are created again, now in a different medium!

Of course, a more poetic rather than direct title implies another piece that's harder to put into words than concrete art. It took me a while to name said piece. 'Bittersweet', 'ice', 'morning', and 'sky' were the themes that came to mind, and yet I had to fit a sense of action or adventure in there. I couldn't cram all of those ideas in there, so here's what I've got. v_v

Suiguno was initially inspired by Game Freak's designs. It has changed enough such that it's moreso inspired than derived.
