Physical appearance: Bunnaba is a Watmel Berry-sized and Watmel Berry-shaped pokemon. It has a mammalian body structure, albeit with the exception of the trail of its hindquarters. Biologists hypothesize that the tail degenerated from vestigial rear limbs unused from flying, leaving the hindquarters to level out and become a large tail. The rest of the pokemon has remained the same, as Bunnaba still has to land on the ground to pick foods and rest. Bunnaba is exceptionally pockmarked with many lumps and 'craters'. Unlike impact craters, Bunnaba's craters grow naturally and remain in their specific pattern for all its life. The craters provide a rough exterior to weather against winds when it flies at high speeds. The more Bunnaba flies, the smoother its body looks. Outside of its abnormally-textured epidermis and tail, Bunnaba has a normal anatomy: two noctilucous eyes, two slits for nostrils, an omnivorous mouth, a complete digestive tract for mostly herbivorous consumption, mostly-complete organ systems (with the exception of unused hind-limb muscles), and rudimentary paws for holding, scratching, and punching.
Unlike mammalian Pokemon, Bunnaba does not generate internal body heat, causing its body to stay around a cool 45° on its outside, while dropping starkly to -32° inside. Instead, it navigates by subtly modifying its magnetic field to float against the ground and against parts of its body. This tends to work against Bunnaba when it is in the presence of a strong iron or magnetic steel, requiring large amounts of internal energy to disorder. A Bunnaba had been found attached to a Magnezone's head, taking much time and strength for that Magnezone's trainer to pry off.

Habitat and diet: Bunnabas frequently roam holey mountainsides where there are abundances of minerals. Bunnabas can live anywhere in these crags, ranging from subfusc caves, to summits, to open valleys. Bunnabas look for exposed rock--preferably ferric ones--to consume. Bunnabas have chisel-like incisors to lever and break off chunks of rock before they digest it into particles. If Bunnabas find a vein of rare mineral, they will fight each other, biting and ramming into each other's crusts in attempts to break them; a Bunnaba with a broken crust is very vulnerable to enemies and external hazards, so when fighting over rare minerals, the weaker individuals will surrender their chances to escape longstanding injuries, leaving the strongest to collect the minerals. The high demand for these minerals are brimborions in the sense that they provide no practical use. Materials such as silver can condense a Bunnaba's shell, but they make the Bunnaba noticeable and its shell more malleable; traits detrimental for for a Bunnaba to survive.
Contrary to their lunacy over rare mineral veins, Bunnabas are discrete over normal diets. They consume 1/10th of their total mass in stone per day, filtering most organic material out. In fact, one Bunnaba can create a long tunnel through a mountain throughout its life, helpful for the next generation of Bunnabas to reside in and continue eating. Bunnabas prefer drinking slushy mountain water or eating glacier chunks to hydrate themselves, although normal lake water can suffice.
To dispose of digested materials (or to just observe their surroundings), Bunnabas ascend into the nighttime sky and fly across it, leaving numerous, friction-lit (rather than sun-reflected) particulates from their crust and from some excess. These trails can be easily differentiated from other cosmic activity, such as meteors or comets, by their speed; these lights move faster than a comet, though slower than a meteor.

Behavior: Bunnabas primarily live alone, though groups of up to six Bunnabas have been found living together. They are outgoing yet cautious, preferring to spend time circling the skies and mountains. Other pokemon rarely attack, or even find Bunnabas; on the ground, Bunnabas' rocky epidermises provides sufficient camouflage and protection in their dark, unexposed caves. Flying pokemon are wary of ramming into a Bunnaba in flight, as they can break a wing from the immediate collision or impact from accelerating toward the ground. Thus, they keep their distance from Bunnabas corkscrewing in a random direction.
Bunnabas reproduce by digging a small dust pit and releasing amorphous eggs around four inches in diameter into the pit. The pit is left open, though the parent Bunnabas watch the nest for any signs of danger. Once the eggs hatch, the kits are left by themselves to start gnawing on the rock walls around their nest and gnawing elsewhere. A Bunnaba matures quickly, in little less than a year before they are also able to reproduce.
Bunnabas are amiable to people who might find them from following their nighttime trails. Bunnabas are happy to follow trainers who provide them with a healthy mix of rocks and vitamins in battling or performing. They are obliviously satisfied with being exposed to rare minerals and having their crusts harvested for purified ores. Thankfully, their only mediocre battling potential discourages criminal activists from using them against regular individuals.

It's a moon/inaba/luck/comet rabbit, which grew as a plot bunny from the idea of an Ice/Steel-type concept based off of a comet. Plot bunnies grow as plot bunnies do. Tried not to make the battling aspects too overwhelming, even if it basically turns into a meteor for its final move. :P The stats balance that out.

I'm pretty tired after writing the description, but I do like the effort I put into it. Hope other deviants do, too.

Pokemon are Game Freak's concepts which I do not own, though I do take the creativity to add to these concepts in my own manner.

I love this particular pokemon design. It's very creative, individual, and nice simplistic design. I love the Moon Bunny style and the detail you put into its coat is absolutely eye catching. Keep up the fantastic fakemon designs, they're inspiring me constantly.
